In this course, students will:

1) Learn the importance of Tajweed and why it is essential for correct Quran recitation.

2) Understand the Arabic alphabets and their correct articulation points (Makharij).
3) Practise basic tajweed rules, including Noon Sakin, Tanween, Meem Sakin, Qalqalah, and Madd.
4) Improve pronunciation, fluency, and confidence in Quran recitation.

Learning Outcomes

Recognise and pronounce Arabic letters correctly by understanding their articulation points (Makharij).

Course Requirements

Basic ability to read Arabic script (no prior Tajweed knowledge required).

Access to the Holy Quran (with Tajweed colour coding preferred, if available).
